City moose hunting - we are expecting the arrival of our Moose sometime on Saturday afternoon. Gather at the iglounge for 2pm to set off on a city-wide Moose hunt. A rare chance to witness this rare spectacle first hand.
This game is just a part of our Moose wild release programme. The sites where the Moose will be released are a closely guarded secret, however, they are all within 50 miles of Bristol. In September we expect the Moose to move towards wintering grounds in the Avon Valley; in celebration of this stunning natural spectacle, we are running a competition to find the best pictures of the Moose, send pictures by MMS to 60300 or email your pictures to sightings@moosehunt.mobi.
Three Moose have been fitted with a tracking device and people can follow the progress of the animals on an online map at http://moosehunt.mobi. Players can also text ‘moose’ to 60300 to get a map of the Moose’s current locations on their mobile phones. Using this information they can track the animals down as they make their migration. Players must be careful, however, because if the Moose capture the players on camera, they are out of the competition.
